In 1978, Hugh formed his first travel company, ITC. By 1985 he had also established a retail and business travel agency, in the UK, Africa and the United States. His career in hotel representation started in 1987 with a contract for Beachcomber Hotels in the Indian Ocean, shortly followed by the Nassau, Paradise Island Promotion Board in The Bahamas. From there AMG was ultimately born. Hugh also sits on the board of 24PR.
